Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the services provided by Homeward Bound Referrals ("we", "us", "our").

By engaging with our services, you ("Client", "Community Partner", or "you") agree to the terms outlined below. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Services Provided

​

Homeward Bound Referrals provides advisory services to individuals and families seeking senior living options. These services may include:

- Personalized consultations

- Needs assessments

- Recommendations for senior housing or care communities

- Scheduling and assistance with community tours

- Guidance throughout the placement process

​

We do not offer legal, financial, or medical advice. Our role is advisory, and clients are encouraged to seek licensed professionals for those specific needs.

​

2. Client Services (Individuals and Families)

​

For individual clients and their families, our advisory services are provided free of charge. Clients are under no obligation to select any particular facility or provider we recommend. The choice of senior living arrangements is entirely up to the client.

​

3. Community Customers (Senior Living Communities and Providers)

​

For community customers (e.g., senior living communities, assisted living providers), a formal contract will be provided, outlining the scope of services, terms of engagement, referral expectations, and any applicable fees. No services will be rendered until both parties have agreed to and signed this contract.

4. Independence and Objectivity

​

Homeward Bound Referrals may receive compensation from certain senior living providers for successful placements. However, our primary commitment is to the well-being and satisfaction of our clients. We remain objective and strive to recommend options based solely on the needs and preferences of each individual client.

5. Confidentiality

​

All personal, medical, and financial information shared with us is treated as strictly confidential. We will not share any information without express consent, except where required by law.

​

6. Limitation of Liability

​

We aim to provide accurate and helpful recommendations. However, we cannot guarantee the performance, availability, or quality of any third-party providers or communities. Clients and community customers agree to hold Homeward Bound Referrals harmless from any outcomes related to placements or referrals.

7. Termination of Services

​

Either party may terminate services at any time. Any contracts in place with community partners will be subject to the termination clauses defined therein. Clients are free to discontinue their relationship with us at any point, with no penalty.

8. Governing Law

​

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

​

9. Changes to These Terms

 

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any updates will be reflected with a new "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
